Once we all are saved, we have
enlisted to join the Christain Army whose captain is the Lord Jesus Christ. The nature of Christ Army transcends death and the power of grace because whether dead or alive, the soldier of Christ still occupies his position. While living he is known as a militant soldier, but when he died he's known as the Triumphant soldier. He does not lose a battle because Christ is the captain in any battle they engage in. It is important to emphasize that this Army defies gender classification; there is neither male or female.
We are all on the battlefield and in the battlefield anything can happen, even the strongest of soldiers get hit by stray bullets which brings them down, most times the still continue fighting despite being hit, but at a point they start gasping for breath, should we let them die??? No!!!
Who is a wounded soldier??? A wounded soldier is a Christain brother or sister, pastor or bishop who is down as a result of sickness, poverty, failure, fear or depression etc. These are the enemies weapon of warfare against the soldiers of Christ. The wounded soldier is that child of God who finds himself in challenging conditions such that he cannot untangle himself. Those soldiers need assistance to overcome challenges. A wounded soldier is not one who runs away and vacated his duty post when the enemy's arrow hit him. The Christain soldier does not denounces his captain or his squad in the face of challenges; he remains focused and committed to his duties even till death Rev.12:11
Therefore it is saddening to see that contemporary soldiers of Christ cannot endure persecution or nakedness. They complain at the persisting test of Faith. It is important to state that a wounded soldier might not be a weakling, careless, reckless or unserious as many might think. It is part of his refining process, Gold must must go through the refiners fire before it's true value can be appreciated. God allows the soldier of Christ to be hit by the enemy's arrow as part of accomplishing his purpose In his life and the lives of other soldiers.
A wounded soldier should take courage because he is not alone, for because our captain was once wounded like him, and the church should not abandon the wounded soldier nor blame him for his mistake and sin.
So quit talking, quit spreading rumours and help that wounded soldier, anybody can be hit by a stray bullet.
I hear young people say " Street is military " likewise "Christain is military " đź‘Ś
And this shall be our military chants:
Christ, our mighty Captain, leads against the foe,
We will never falter, when He bids us go;
Tho' His righteous purpose we may never know,
Yet we'll follow all the way
Satan's fearful onslaught cannot make us yield
While we trust in Christ, our Buckler and our Shield
Pressing ever on the Spirit's sword we wield,
And we follow all the way
Let our glorious banner ever be unfurled
From its mighty stronghold evil shall be hurled;
Christ, our mighty Captain, overcomes the world,
And we follow all the way.
Fierce the battle rages, but 'twill not be long,
Then triumphant shall we join the blessed throng,
Joyfully uniting in the victor's song
If we follow all the way
Forward! forward! 'tis the Lord's command,
Forward! forward! to the promised land;
Forward! forward! let the chorus ring
We are sure to win with Christ our King
