Hello fams
I would like us to discuss on this issue
HOW TO DICTATE A GOOD LECTURER
I find it a very interesting topic because many of us students don't know how to dictate a good lecturer.
In my first year in the polytechnics there was this lecturer(name withheld) who took us up during our second semester on a course titled "practice of selling" . Each time this lecturer enters the class he introduces the Topic, and explains the subject matter and then in the course of explaining the subject matter he delves into jokes and making funny gestures. Of course every student enjoys this moment so likewise i myself 😜😜, you'll hardly see anyone that doesn't laugh or feels that sense of humour he's passing to us. In fact if you don't laugh in his class you'll be seen as a "sadist" 🙄 oh! That would've been a too harsh word to use lemme think of one 🤔🤔🤔 "humourless " that captures how good he was in making jokes.
I flowed along at first sight [ I mean who wouldn't] but I noticed it was more constant and he was defeating my aim of being in school which was to study marketing. I now thought to myself 🤔🤔🤔 " Josh are you here for entertainment or to study??" If I wanted jokes I know where I would go to get that.
But do you know what??? Most of my coursemates saw him as one of the best lecturer in the department!!! I'm also so I understand Why they'll think that way, students love teachers who are liberal and you jokes opens up the door for them to do as they wish in your class.... [that would be an explanation for another day. But for me he wasn't even among the list of the best 5 [five] lecturers in the department.
In the heat of this argument I asked myself "what are the parameters to really rate a good lecturer "????
I've dictated 5 parameters to rate a good lecturer.
You can visit our blog www.ajujuboyblog.blogspot.com
But still yet you can go to the comment box and list parameters to dictate a good lecturer the best comment will be posted on our blog site for everyone. Because I believe this piece would be helpful not only to students but to parents as you already know.
Thanks for your time
